On Thursday, October 16, 2014, the launch of the Canada-wide "Blue Light Exposed" campaign was held at the Phi Centre, located in the heart of Montreal's Old Port.

Bloggers, journalists, influencers, and eye-care professionals attended the unveiling of this awareness campaign, the purpose of which is to make the public aware of the harmful effects that blue light exposure can have on our vision.

The moderator for the evening was Camille Desrosiers, a very active personality in the field of social media.

Experts Benoît Frenette, associate professor, and Nicolas Fontaine, assistant professor, from the University of Montreal's School of Optometry, shared with us the results of a study conducted to evaluate the effects of blue light, and enlightened us on practical solutions for protecting our vision.
